Hey all,

On May 19 a post was sent through to this list by an individual identifying
himself as Steve Ikadians, who represented that he had received poor
customer service from NetGravity. It has come to my attention that Mr.
Ikadians is not registered in any customer service database owned by
NetGravity. Furthermore, attempts to contact Mr. Ikadians to determine his
affiliation and the nature of his service problems have gone unanswered.

Steve Ikadians is a member of the List and his e-mail address is valid.
However, the our logs show that he joined the list only shortly before
making his post.

When evaluating the claims made in his e-mail, please keep in mind the fact
that Steve did not identify his corporate affiliation, is not in
NetGravity's customer service database and has not answered his e-mail
requesting clarification.

Also keep in mind that NetGravity has recently announced an IPO, and may be
restricted in how it can commment publicly. It is also not inconceivable
that their competitors might be using that situation as an opportunity to
take pot shots at them which might not be factual.

I myself have never used Netgravity's product or services, so I cannot
vouch for them. But I do know that Netgravity is an active member of our
list and has always been a good source of information. This reputation of
being helpful seems to run counter to what Steve Ikadians claims about the
company.

If anyone knows who Steve Ikadians is and why he is saying these things, please
e-mail me at: richard_at_tenagra.com. The last thing I want to do is spread
misinformation on our list.
