research and consulting company, has published a new report
about Internet advertising. The report, "Advertising on the
Internet: Leveraging the Virtual Channel for Promotion and

spending should grow at a 78% compounded annual growth rate
up through the year 2000-- the same growth rate experienced
between 1996 and 1997.

-On the Internet an advertiser can market directly to a

-Leveraging campaigns across traditional and new media is a
good way to build virtual channel brand equity.

-Advertisers that embrace the Internet today will enjoy a
