Our advertising service, ADSDAQ, (http://www.adsdaq.com)
will do exactly that. The problem today is that the
interaction between buyers and sellers is truly not yet a
market. There is still too much unsold inventory and
"artificially" inflated prices. There are also too few
sellers and too few buyers, and no one is willing to "make a
market" in the inventory. Lets compare to this to, say,
"hog bellies". We're trying to buy up deliveries of ads
from lots of websites, "hog farmers". Nobody cares which
farm the hogs come from because they are going to the
sausage plant anyway. The ugly hogs and the pretty hogs end
up the same; in a Sausage McMuffin... But now, back to our
story...

A stock market works because brokers will "make a market" in
a stock when no buyer (or seller) can be found. We're
trying to do the same thing with ADSDAQ.

I've posted several times here that I believe that banner
ads (in their present form) *ARE* a commodity and should be
traded as such.

Today, ADSDAQ sells run-of-network ads in million ad "lots".
We will be segmenting by geography, site category,
language, etc, in the future, when a "market" emerges for
"bulk" ad purchases in those segments, and sufficient "hog
bellies" can be delivered to those buyers.

No offense intended to the creative types in the audience
who design hogs :-)
