If you're debating whether or not your company should participate in
Virtual Trade Shows, there is an excellent radio program archived on the
Web at http://www.cybermedia.org.

In-studio featured guest Mark S. A. Smith, co-author of "Guerrilla Trade
Show Selling," discusses virtual trade shows on this week's edition of "The
Cyber Media Show with Kim Bayne." Program 41 (Virtual Trade Shows) airs on
public radio station affiliates in local markets from September 7 through
13. For rebroadcast on demand, the program will be archived in streaming
audio at http://www.cybermedia.org.

In this week's opening monologue, Host Kim Bayne discusses trade show
logistics and their digital alternatives. In Featured Guest segments, Kim
and Mark define virtual trade shows, discuss the secrets of trade show
success for online exhibitors, compare the advantages and disadvantages of
exhibiting online, and offer tips for attending and doing business at
Web-based trade shows. During Net Highlights, Kim interviews Jack Powers,
Conference Chairman for Mecklermedia Corporation, on why "virtual trade
shows don't work."
