This is mainly a request for respondants to a brief survey,
but it has to do with two issues that I believe is pretty
germane to the operations of the average interactive agency
- efficient project management and project tracking. (I'll
let our honorable moderator be the judge, of course.)
CyberNation is seeking volunteers from the online media
industry to respond to a survey regarding project management
practices and related software solutions. We're a mid-sized
interactive agency with dramatic growth over the last 10
months and we've had to work hard to avoid chaos overtaking
our project management while keeping an eye on the bottom
line all the while. So, after failing to find a n adequate
project management and time-tracking solution that
accomodated the specific needs of our industry, we developed
one of our own. It's a robust and flexible Web-based tool
which has allowed us both to improve our production process
and monitor time spent and profitability on a
project-by-project basis.
It's worked amazingly well for us and we're pretty excited
about its potential industry-wide since complex PM and good
profitability analysis are two of the most intransigent
problems facing the sector. Response so far has been strong,
especially among mid-sized entities), so we're trying to
accomodate industry opinion in the "external" beta as much
as possible.
We're trying to gauge:
a) Interest
b) people's feelings about their current PM/project tracking
processes
c) features that might improve our solution.
d) pricing viability
So, if you don't mind answering a few questions on this
topic, contact me and I'll put you on the list for a 60-day
beta (space will be limited - sorry).
Thanks!
Rob Santos
