I'm not sure that I have the answer to the creative vision
behind the '500 sites yahoo was afraid to list' banner,
however having been slightly puzzled by it myself I looked a
bit further and came across the following:

http://aboutus.miningco.com/yahoo.htm

Which pretty much tells the story. In brief it is claimed
that Yahoo do not feature the Mining Co. sites in their
index (the reasons vary depending on whose account you
listen to).

The upshot of all of this would seem to be that the banner
is valid in taking you through to the Mining Co. site (and
is not some kind of 'free sex and chocolate' gimmick),
however the location of the relevant article should
certainly be a little more obvious!

Cheers

Iain
