Announcing the ClickZ Challenge

Attention Site Publishers and Ad Networks:

We are putting on a special event this year that we hope you
will want to participate in. It's called the ClickZ
Challenge.

The ClickZ Challenge will pit 4 top agencies -- 2 from the
Alley, 2 from the Valley -- in an online competition which
will determine who can produce the best results for a
nonprofit ad campaign.

Participating agencies will all receive the same challenge:
Produce an online campaign for the Doug Flutie Jr.
Foundation, which benefits autism awareness and research.
The goal of the campaign is to generate online contributions
and names for the Flutie Foundation mailing list. The agency
that produces the best results, as measured by the
AdKnowledge System, will win the grand prize. The award
ceremony will be held in conjunction with the Tenagra Awards
at Web Advertising '99 in NYC on Tuesday, April 27th...

The ClickZ Challenge campaigns will be served throughout the
month of April on participating web sites and networks
worldwide, as determined by available donated impressions.

There is obviously one vital component we need in order to
make this happen: We need many, many ad impressionsö.

We're hoping that the site publishers and ad networks on
this list will support this venture and donate as many ad
impressions that you might have available for April '99.
Preferably, we are looking for lots of 1 million, but would
appreciate whatever contributions you are willing to make.

Our goal? 100 million impressions to work from...

In exchange for your donation of ad impressions, we will
list you and your logo on our upcoming ClickZ Challenge web
site, as well as on the program at the banquet. It is also
our hope that the event will generate some good publicity,
which you could also share in as a major donor.

We would very much appreciate your support of this
worthwhile cause.

In addition to benefiting the Flutie Foundation, the ClickZ
Challenge aims to benefit online advertising as a whole.
Fundamentally, the Challenge takes a wider scope: To
demonstrate that the online environment can be an effective
and exciting vehicle to deliver an advertising message to a
broad audience.

Again, please take a look at your available inventory for
April and let me know what you can spare.

Thanks!

Andy
