Has anyone run across one of these "Web Washer" programs
that removes banners from web pages? See the Feb 15 article
in Internet World:
http://www.internetworld.com/print/current/ecomm/19990215-washing.html
I assume that the program ignore instructions for calling a
banner. The result being that the impression is not
registered with the ad vendor. What would be more alarming
is if the impression is called, but not shown. Then the
traffic is reported, but false. If anyone has seen these
programs, please let me know where.
