Perhaps the key here is the brief description that is
provided with the listing. A good choice of copy will lead
to a greater click thru rate. I searched the term
"advertising agency" and Mark's site came up number 12 & 13,
while Johm's came up number 6. I think I can understand why
Mark's site is getting a higher click thru rate. Note that
my comments do not say anything about qualified click thrus.


John's copy indicates that his site is for a specific
business and that it costs to utilize his service. Mark's
copy lets the viewer know that there is a wide range of free
information about online ad programs. For someone just
beginning their reasearch into this area, his is the logical
choice. For someone ready to buy, perhaps John's would be
better. THe ad copy for each listing is quite good.

But, my favorite ad copy of the first page of listings was
number 8:

Learn how to skyrocket your online sales by 837%. How to
instantly get 10,000 - 15,000 visitors to your website
within one week of starting a promotion...
