The beginning of the end for Chickclick Network?

I have a story you all might find to be of interest,
regarding what in my opinion are somewhat questionable
business practices by Imagine Media's ad network,
Chickclick.

I am an attorney and creator of lawgirl.com. Until today, I
was an affiliate of Imagine's media darling, the Chickclick
Network. Despite protestation by affiliate sites for over a
year, Chickclick, inconceivably, had yet to institute any
sort of meaningful accounting mechanism for its affiliates.
When I discovered yesterday that those running Chickclick
were also apparently cutting sweetheart deals with some
affiliates, I blew my top (over this and a series of other
ongoing snafus), exposed what was going on to the other
affiliates, and was unceremoniously booted from the network
in violation of the terms of my contract.

Lots of disgruntled affiliates over there at
Chickclick....The show is essentially being run by a group
of early 20 somethings who run the network like they are
running a lemonade stand.

Just wanted to give a heads up to the ad community in the
unfortunate event that Chickclick handles and accounts to
advertisers in this same haphazard manner...Unbelievable
really...
