E-commerce Research Needed

Apologies in advance to those who might have read this post
on another list...

One of my clients is considering using an "e-wallet" type
solution for their e-commerce enabled site. I need to
"prove" that implementation of this model will result in
increased e-commerce sales, due to the simplification of the
purchase process.

I would greatly appreciate any information that supports
