International "Native Language" Ads

I've never "started" a thread here before, but maybe there
is someone else interested in this...

Although our network of 1,600+ (http://www.adsdaq.com) sites
is English only, we started running some "native language"
ads from one of clients with tremendous results. We target
specific language ads to the browsers domain, i.e. French
for .fr, Portuguese for .pt and .bz, Spanish for .es, .mx,
.ho, etc... The CTR for those targeted ads for 19 different
languages is 3-4 times the regular CTR for the same
"English-only" ad... Granted, viewership is lower as a
percentage of the whole, but isn't that what delivering a
targeted message is all about...

can deliver pertinent advertising content in a
"mass-customization" kind of way, improving our relationship
(brand) with both advertisers and network browsers...

Are there other advertisers or agencies developing "native
language" ads as campaign components?
