Our experience is great too with "native language" ads. We
planning this kind of banner campaign principally on Lycos
and Altavista that recognise the country of the users and
show the appropriate banner.
Our company is focused in web promotion services in Italy
and one of our "killer opportunity" is expose some "native
language" banner into site written in English.
This kind of campaign is a secure way to capture users
attention becouse, on an English site, the only phrases
written is users language are on the banner.
Normally, the click through ratio is greater than the
standard campaign by a factor of 2 or 3!
