First I don't agree that a network cannot look after both
advertiser and host (publisher) interests. Safe-Audit acts
as a trusted third party and has mediated very successfully
the interests of both parties for the last two years. The
main interest is that both wish to operate in an environment
of trust rather than confrontation. A network can and should
provide that function.

We have had a policy for a year now to allow foreign sites
(mainly European) to join our network. Naturally we restrict
which campaigns they can participate in to those where the
advertiser is content with that traffic. What we find more
and more is that there are US advertisers who are willing
to accept business from outside the US. Indeed we are even
finding now that there are increasingly more campaigns both
by US and other advertisers who wish to specifically target
various countries.

We have quite chunky memberships from many countries and
expect in the passage of time to spin off seperate networks
when the demand for a specific country justifies it. For
example only a couple of months ago we spun off over 500
German members into their own network and that has already
grown to 1,000 members and is also attrracting Domestic
German advertisers.

We now have 24,000 hosting members in our network and with
our new unique partners program which pays out for the
lifetime of the business generated by introductions I expect
that to grow even faster than the 3,000 new members a month
we currently enjoy. Although the US still represents 80/90%
of that growth we recognise that within a few years Europe
will be more active with advertising on the web.
