In the UK the max permitted is between 7 and 9 minutes per
hour with an average of 7.something , so the ratio is
different here. presumably consumers' reaction to
advertising being intrusive online compared to TV will
therefore be a function of what they perceive to be the
norm.

Does it follow that US users will notice the ads more as
they are less dense than they are used to in other media?
