Well, to Richard's point, yes, this will take steal some
thunder for search engine optimizers. Things like paid
results positioning or Real Names are going to do a lot to
defeat 'honest' search engine results and advertising that
is displayed against them. But I'm curious if anyone else
out there is concerned that these ploys all compromise
search engine "editorial integrity." Now, I realize they
don't have much of that as it stands in general, but
unsubsidized search results were always the paragon of what
the internet and the web were supposed to provide. Charging
for listings is turning an SE into nothing more than a
Yellow Pages with content.
