Flood of Spam from AllAdvantage.com
I am now getting worried about the flood of email I am
receiving from agents of the "AllAdvantage.com" MLM-pyramid
scheme, which promises to pay people for surfing the web. I
am now getting about a dozen copies per day of unsolicited
email inviting me to join the program. Some of these come
to me individually, while others are being submitted to
mailing list discussion groups I moderate (I assume that
Richard has probably been blocking similar posts to Online
Ads.)
Does anyone know how I can reach someone at the company to
try to get them to take direct action to stop this? They
ignore email and there are no phone numbers or office
addresses at the site. I have called the PR agency and they
told me my only recourse is to send email to
spam_at_alladvantage.com. They claim that they have opened an
office in Hayward, California, but there is still no phone
listing for the company there.
I would appreciate any help at all in reaching these folks.
If the flood keeps growing, I expect that by the end of next
week, I will have no choice but to file a lawsuit in the
Superior Court in Hayward (which is only 10 miles from my
home), seeking an injunction and an award of damages.
