Selling Excess Inventory Yourself

From: Karen Dillon <karen_at_kidsource.com>

Are any sites selling their excess inventory themselves, or
are most going through brokers such as Flycast?

Does any site auction off its own excess inventory? What are
typical price ranges? How is it done so that it doesn't hurt
sales at the rate card CPM?

Thanks!
