This is an extremely basic question but, I am preparing to
place our first online buy for a client and I want to
clarify something. Is there an industry standard for proof
of performance from a web publisher? In print, tearsheets
are provided. In broadcast, sworn affidavits are issued.
Is the proof of performance simply the log files or traffic
summary a web publisher sends (or allows access to online)
or is there something additional a web publisher should
provide for an advertiser?
On another note, I was attending a seminar recently and it
was mentioned that AAAA is working on developing a
standardized insertion order. Does anyone have more
information on this? 20
Your input would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
