PRESS QUERY: data on online health

Basically I am looking for data on online health. The
article will be published in a magazine that goes out to
service members and their families around the world. The
company is Gannett Corporation, and the story may be picked
up in other Gannett publications as well, so although the
readership will largely have military tie-ins, it is not
limited to them.

If any of your clients can answer the following questions, I
would appreciate their input. Please have them include
their name and affiliation/company, so I can attribute
quotes...unless they do not wish to be identified, which is
also ok.

The kinds of information I need include the following:

Is there data to support the publics interest in searching
out health and medical advise and information online? Are
there common places to look? Common types of information
requested?

Are there any trends regarding online health interest?

What are some of the newer online health/medical sites
people can search out?

Are there more common health/medical interests? Does this
bring on new sites and newer ways to go about looking for
information, the way on line consumerism spawns new sites,
products and marketing online?

Any other information or trends your clients are seeing in
the health and medical field online, that should be
discussed?
