I am told that cookies are notoriously unreliable for a
whole bunch of reasons. At Safe-Audit we are able to embed
the referring ID into the purchasing/lead/registration
forms. We do this in order to detect and then credit
appropriately when forms are completed with false data. That
way our advertisers only pay for genuine forms. I believe
that the proprietary technology we developed to do this is
pretty unique and in any event is very closely tied up with
our whole Database structure and proprietary tracking
technology. So the best I can do is tell you it can be done
but you may have a hard job ahead of you unless there is an
easy way to do this that I do not know of.
