That's the key point. I just received a clever .exe file
called Willie. It was attached to an email from my
accountant.
If these files are done well enough, they multiply through
email channels much the way jokes do. And when they come
from a friend or trusted associate, there's little fear in
running them. I saved the file and made note of the company
that created it as a self-promotion for future reference.
This works great now as a guerrilla marketing tool. Once
everyone's doing it, though, we're all going to tune out.
So my advice is, strike fast and make sure it's damn clever!
