Re: New Product Marketing Woes

Hello All, Regarding the post to the list about getting the
attention of Media Buyers and Planners, I think that the
most compelling thing that can be done is to bring the
prices in line. I visited the Pegasus Site and found that
their Rate card started at $45. While that did include
targeting and a niche audience, I think that, even if they
do not stick to their rate card, the price is so high that
it scares the buyers off. The company that I work for
represents a couple of Networks with targeting capabilities
that are very effective, and we price them out for between
$5 and $10 per CPM, do CPC deals and the occasional CPA
deal, inventory permitting. I am your direct competition
and am able to garner the Media Buyers/Planners interest,
but at a much more "effective and efficient" rate. The
issue of audience may be valid, but only to a point. . . and
I don't think that that point is 4 to 8 times more valuable.

Sincerely yours,
Warren Lee
