industry accepted costs and returns?

recommend a site that lists reliable industry averages and
returns expectations for everything from CPA, CTR, CPM,
direct email campaigns, affiliate, online publicity etc. I
know that a lot of the discussion on this list is concerned
with what costs are justified and what to expect from ad
purchases but for a newcomer, where to begin?
