Hi Greg,

In response to you question about site traffic measurement
tools, I would like to pass on my recommendation of
Marketwave's HitList product. I've had the opportunity to
test out many of these packages, including WebTrends, but
decided to go with HitList mainly because it seems to be a
lot more flexible (customizable) than any of the other
similar packages on the market right now. There is one
caveat though. If your site logs are large (ie. more than
100Mb per week), then you'll have to pay out for their
Enterprise product which is a little pricey. Otherwise,
HitList Pro should meet your needs for $400.

With respect to your problems with WebTrends, I would bring
your concerns to the attention of the WebTrends support
people. In using WebTrends myself, I didn't find the
numeric output to be any different from the other packages.
Perhaps you're just experiencing a configuration problem
that they might be able to help you out with. Generally,
WebTrends is regarded as a high quality product.

Hope this has helped.
