Just because AdSmart can't handle "off-size" ads does not
mean that a dozen other ad networks won't gladly accept all
IAB ad sizes. I know from my own past buys that Flycast
allows member sites to create ads in any IAB-standard size,
and other ad networks will work to accommodate both sites
and advertisers. I am seeing considerably more energy by a
number of vendors in supporting networks buys in ad sizes
that work better in the margins or in "button bars" -- most
commonly the "button" sizes (120x60 and 88x31), but also the
vertical shapes.
