On Safe we run both banners and text (interestingly enough
because we don't push the banners we are unaffected by the
banner exclusion software). I just want to confirm what Tom
says. Text gets a far higher CTR. More to the point, the
effect goes beyond CTR. Conversion to action is also
considerably enhanced. On Safe we are running one campaign
with advertorial type text using substantial real estate to
offer free downloads on a CPM basis. The conversion rates
