You don't mention how much traffic you are getting and the
question is a bit "how long is a piece of string". Depends
on the nature of your traffic as well as the numbers, the
nature of the advertiser and the price you are willing to
charge. The main problem you have is competing to get heard
with other similar sites. Tht takes time and costs money
and if your traffic is limited it means your payback on that
effort is also limited. The best solution short term is to
join a network since many have very reasonable minimum
traffic requirements. (Safe-Audit has hardly any limit at
all). While you will probably get a lower return, you also
have no sales costs and you should be able to sell all your
inventory. Certainly a good short term strategy.
