I've used FMP for years, and think it's wonderful. Two
reasons:
1) It comes with dozens of good templates, and
2) It's easier to write new databases in FMP than in any
other DB program I've seen.
The downsides:
1) Not as well integrated to enterprise systems (i.e. ODBC,
SQL) as other databases.
2) Doesn't handle the REALLY big databases well. But you
don't hit any problems until you have tens of thousands
of records.
In short: For the ad needs of a company the size of
SegaSoft, It's perfect for the purposes you list.
