re: advertising within games
Advertising within video games is an old trick. Go down to
best buy or a video arcade and check the advertising
especially within the sports games. Last christmas I
remember vividly watching my 6 year old cousins playing a
snowboarding video game which displayed huge "banners" for
sunglasses, snowboards, candy bars and all the similar
products. Racing game often emblazen logos all over the
screen. I dont know about how relevant an advertising brand
would appear in Doom. What would you be advertising or for
whom? Remington? A life insurance company? I dont know
about that. : )
