measuring beyond the click?

Hello all,

I wonder if anybody can help?

I keep reading about technologies that allow the tracking of
browsing behaviour 'beyond the click', but i cant find any
information that explains how this can be done?.. or what
kind of information can be obtained?

If anybody has more experience with this tracking method
perhaps they could help?
