In respect to Newspaper Advertising.

Your local newspaper should have demographic info. You might
want to look at local niche market papers. They are usually
cost effective for a small budget. Colored ink is also a
way of bringing out your message on the page. Remember the
motto "More is Less". If you go with print advertising,
don't be too wordy.

In respect to Internet Advertising.

You might want to look into any of the following oriented to
your product/service:

A banner on a local newspaper site.
Buying a keyword on a Search engine.
Putting your message in an email newsletter.

In respect to Direct Mail.

If you talk to the local newspaper, they should be able to
give you demographic info by zip codes. You could then
contact a direct mail company to target those zip codes.
