How does a WWW business advertise?

There are no commercials at the bottom of this inquiry. It
is a serious inquiry.

Come January 2000, I will be training brand new audiences
across the U.S. on the virtues and pot holes of the best of
the best web authoring software programs on the market
today. Not to worry, I will do a good job.

They will ask me:

Search Engines
Banner Advertising
E-Mail / albeit Spam

There must be something better.
