If you are trying to reach the small business community, if
you aren't already working the local business networks, be
sure you get involved with them (Look for the ones that are
most active and a have the most members in your target
market)

Look specifically for the business after hours and other
types of local trade shows that are low cost, but which mght
target the market you want to reach. Find out if you can
rent or get access to group membership lists by joining too.

A handshake and familiar face in this group goes a long way
to reinforce the ads and get you remembered. If you're not
out there shaking hands and getting known and if you are
targetting small businesses, your competitors will get all
the benefit of your advertising because they ARE out there
shaking those hands and answering the "how do I get on the
web questions" in person.
