More likely than not, since your jump pages are all hosted
on the same domain as their other jump pages, that domain
was banned from Excite, Lycos, etc. Search Engines do not
like those who taint their results, and many take proactive
stances to stop things like that.

Yes. In fact, HyperMart, which hosts free business
webpages, was being rampantly abused by people signing up,
making doorway pages, then spamming those to the search
engines. As a result, HyperMart got banned and so did the
spammers.

Always be sure to find out WHAT a service is going to do
-exactly- to get you your traffic. If something sounds
fishy, don't go for it. You're going to be the one held
responsible.

The only service I've ever used to improve / gain search
engine listings was the wonderful http://selfpromotion.com/
-- I've never needed to use anything else. He offers great
tips, easy to use service, mailing lists, advice, and a
great price (free -- if you like it, send in a donation).

One of my site's listings in Yahoo! was obtained directly
from following his advice, and it gets me about 200 or so
visitors a day (not too shabby).

Besides that, every other service I've tried or software
I've used has been a waste of time.
