Mirror sites vs Multiple Domains

Hi,

The site I represent owns several domain names. The names
mostly are permutations on three very different names that
were designed to appeal to three different populations. The
question is if we submit to the search engines 10 or more
domain names all pointing to the same site will they censure
us for spamming. Should we set up one or two mirror sites
so that we would be able to have fewer domain names pointing
to each site?

What is the best way to get all our domains listed in the
search engines without spamming and with optimizing our
placement of course.
