Your statement "As the internet matures, more people will
become more accepting" is completely the opposite in
reality. I have found the newbies are the ones that don't
mind spam or unsolicited email but as time passes and
experience is gained , the practise is frowned on more and
more. Those who insist on using it will be doing more hurt
than good to their interests in the long run.
