the question , at least as most of us probably understood it
was not a one -to one emailing but rather bulk emailing.
Let's face it, when you are writing to a potential
client/buisness partner because you are aware of their
interests etc. the email will relect the individualism in it
by addressing the client by their own name and citing
activities that would qualify you as "in the know". You may
have read about them in a publication or visited their site,
but it becomes easy for those of use with on-line expereince
to know which emails are general with attempted targetting
and those that are written directly to us or our company. I
don't belive anyone would object the the one to one emailing
that has merit and shows a style that provides evidence that
the homework has been done and that it's not just another
blind dart player:-)
