don't take this too seriously, i write it as a devil's
advocate:-) in response to the "what if florida comments"

Take out a bigger ad! use local and regional media (TV,
Radio) seek out regional sites and ask for the "public
Announcement" be shown free, many sites will oblige. Means
more work but that is not a bad word is it. i would detest
the idea of them being able, without permissions to acquire
private information of that nature.

what one day is for a "just" reason the next is an
"exploitive" one. if they do not have a budget to do the
survey or census then they should not be putting the notion
forward to begin with.

it's getting to the point where many would like to be able
to just walk in your front door with their "important
message " blinking on their foreheads. if you are willing to
give an ,inch mind as well give a yard etc etc... besides
can't be that they would be looking for any real response or
really appreciate the input if they have allocated no budget
for the research and marketing end. if they hide their
"small ads" then what does that really say. Does it mean The
Stste of Florida is broke or are they just fulfilling a
requirement that they must post such a notice and do so in
the "low key " way intentionally.

I realize you are just trying to create a scenario but it
just shows that there is much to be looked at before one
would rubber stamp the taking of and use of private and
non-permissioned data and it's use for any reason no matter
how logical it seems. if we all just look at function,
society would be pretty much no holes barred, wouldn;t it?
