Another vote for setting up a site then offering
visitors the chance to subscribe to your newsletter.
Newsletters work. Just make sure you allow the visitor
to subscribe him/herself to your newsletter. Don't
pull email addresses from visitors as they enter your
site then automatically sign them up to your
newsletter. I subscribe to several newsletters. The
more valuable the information is in the newsletter, the
more likely I am to do business with the
newsletter/site owner.
