As it happens, I put this very question to the
subscribers of my Marketing Minute e-mail newsletter a
few weeks ago, and close to 100 articulate and varied
answers came in. A majority of people said that they
had seen freebies produce results for them. But some
of the "mixed" answers ("Yes and no") were extremely
interesting. Some consultants discussed exactly where
they drew the line of free/not free.
