MODERATORS NOTE: New Publication

I wanted to let you all in on a project that I will be
working on that will concern the Online Ads Discussion
List. On January 4, 2000, AdBanter.com will launch as a
weekly publication focusing on issues in Online
Advertising, Marketing and Publicity. Each issue will
feature approximately 8 articles in a variety of topics
ranging from branding to humor to Q&A sessions.

One of the most appealing aspects of the new site will
be something called "The Best of the Banter" which will
be a summary of dead threads from the Online Ads List.
Each week, I will take the best discussion from this
list and summarize it in story form for AdBanter.com.
It will be an easy way to catch up on that what you
didn't see or refresh your memory on the best of the
week. This originally was an idea to supplement the
Online Ads discussions, but over time the idea (and
others) grew into enough information that an entire
site was necessary.

Each issue of AdBanter.com will publish on Tuesday
mornings, with the site's newsletter, lagniappe, going
out that morning as well. The newsletter will be
available for subscription on the site and will include
summaries of most articles on the site, a calendar for
events involving Online Advertising and several special
articles not available anywhere else.

As I said, AdBanter.com will debut on January 4, 2000,
