This is a great question and it mostly relies on when
most people do their surfing at work or at home. I am
of two minds and actually have no idea but I will put
out my thoughts and observations about 'net behavior
and let you decide.

Most of the e-mail lists I belong to (I am excluding
any business list I am on as being not representative,
for several reasons) have steady traffic every weekday,
slightly more on Saturdays and almost none on Sundays.
What does that tell us about people's behavior on the
net? That Sundays are not good days for most people
for the internet, probably because they are spending
time with their families. Based on that right there I
would knock out at least Dec. 24, 25 and 31, and Jan.
1. Maybe this whole two week period since kids are out
of school and probably anytime that parents have away
from work they are spending with their kids.

People do use the net at work. However, as we all know
eventhough the majority of this two week period are
workdays, no one gets anything done, right about now.
So maybe it is a bad idea to use your advertising $
now. On the other hand, all of my friends and I do the
majority of our surfing at work, while we are not
paying for it. At my last job, they had a constant
connection to the Web. I just sat at my desk during
lunch and did all my surfing. So, perhaps if people
have to go into work but are not really focusing you
will find a higher percentage of their workday being
spent on surfing the web.

As an aside, I have a friend whose company was ready to
go public in November and they are waiting until Jan.
After seeing what happened to UPS (who also went public
in Nov) I wonder if they were holding off for nothing.

Anyway, best of luck with your new endevor,
